Network & Security Executive

We are currently seeking an experienced Network & Security Executive for one of our prominent clients in the retail sector to oversee and enhance their network infrastructure and security measures.

Position Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage the company’s network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.
• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to protect the organization’s IT assets from internal and external threats.
• Monitor and maintain network performance, including diagnosing and resolving issues related to connectivity, speed, and security.
• Implement and manage network security solutions such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols.
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to design and implement network and security solutions that meet the organization’s needs.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in network and security to recommend and integrate new solutions as needed.
• Provide support and training to staff on network security best practices and incident response procedures.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers related to network and security services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCNP) are preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration and security within the retail sector or a similar industry.
• Proven expertise in designing, deploying, and managing complex network infrastructures.
• Strong knowledge of network security principles, protocols, and best practices.
• Experience with network security tools and technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve network and security issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
